Chloe Moretz plays "Jillian"
Actress Chloe Moretz, known for her work on film and in some of television’s most promi- nent programming, co-stars in Jack and the Beanstalk from Avalon Family Entertainment, playing Jillian, an accomplice to Jack on his adventure. Jillian is a spirited and outspoken young girl whose motivations on the journey are shrouded in mystery.
Chloe’s career began with a two-episode stint on television’s “The Guardian”, which was shortly followed by her film debut. Soon, Chloe gained attention as the daughter, Chelsea Lutz, in the 2005 remake of “The Amityville Horror”. Riding these early successes, Chloe would gain further notice in a 2005 guest appearance on the television program “My Name is Earl” and a trio of movies in 2006, including “Big Momma’s House” and a co-starring role in the film “Wicked Little Things”.
In 2007, Chloe’s career truly took off. She finished a pair of guest appearances on the top- rated network television program “Desperate Housewives” and appeared in numerous major motion-pictures, including “The Eye”, starring Jessica Alba.
Chloe played Isabelle in Martin Scorsese's Hugo, a film adaptation of The Invention of Hugo Cabret, and stars in Hick, an adaptation of the novel by Andrea Portes. More recently, she appeared in the 2012 film Dark Shadows, playing the role of Carolyn Stoddard, a rebellious teenage daughter.
